chiang mai

We spent about 3 nights in Chiang Mai, Thailands second biggest city. The first day we just spent having lunch and went out for a couple of drinks ready for an early next day. But we slept in so didn't quite make the elephant park. Instead we got a lift up to Wat Doi Suthep which is a cool temple at the highest point in Chiang Mai so had some great views. Plus a monk blessed me when I was taking a sneaky buddha photo. The next day we went to the national elephant institute in the morning and watched some thai boxing.  Unfortunately the best place had burnt down but it was still a good night and we saw fights between kids, women and even 4 guys blindfolded.
