Danang

Once we had a room sorted we went for a little explore and visited the museum of cham sculptures. Then after a walk along the riverfront watching all the locals doing there exercise we went to a high rise shopping tower to have a go on the arcade. We played a kids game we didn't understand and somehow tripled our tokens so we were able to smash plenty of zombies and get to level 5 of house of the dead. Once the school kids started to outnumber us we went for a few drinks with our new thai mate Jai and found out a fair bit about Thailand through a drunken conversation.  Oh and I had a hot dog.  Next day the 3 of us went on a 50k ride up to a mountain resort and took a cable car up through the clouds. There were loads of vietnamese tourists about and there was a 'fantasy land' under construction which combined with the mist was a real surreal place. We had a look at China beach where the american g.i.s used to have there r&r and went to a sea food restaurant.  Jess and jai shared a hot pot of crab prawn and squid, so I had some nuts and rice.
