Vientiane

So its probably about time for an update.  We'll backtrack and write on each post in time.  

Anyway Vientiane, the capital of Lao.  We had been told it wasn't worth going but had to see it. And while it wasn't as bad as we'd heard its definitely a pretty shitty capital. Although i must say the people were friendly, about 5 very classy dressed ladies asked where i was going and if i wanted to have some fun on my way to the internet cafe in the evening. Dusty and bland there were a few things to see and we did them all in a day,  despite the fact our bellies were aching all day. We saw their arch de triumph, which looks cool from afar but upclose and inside has the character of a slough tower block. Saw there crumbling national monument and visited the COPE centre for our first taste of the effects of the massive bombing during the vietnam and secret war. Was pretty strange with there displays of prosthetic limbs.  Forced down some pulled pork in the evening before getting the night bus to Phonsovan. 

Oh and Jesses feet were oozing black all day
